Signature Cigars is hosting our 5th Annual Golf Tournament on Monday August 1, 2011 at Bretton Woods Country Club.

The schedule for the day includes lunch starting at noon, followed by a 1pm shotgun start with an awards presentation after the round.

Cigars will be provided by La Palina, Davidoff, Camacho, General Cigar, Arturo Fuente & Perdomo.

Sodas, Water and Beer will be provided on the course.

The driving range and practice green will be open to the group before the round.

Cost per player is $120.00 – please call Rockville or DC to sign up and submit payment. Final Call date to reserve and pay for your spot is July 25th!

The prizes include door prizes as well as prizes for the winning groups. Two formats for the tournament: Scramble Captain’s Choice and Full Handicap Best 2 balls of the Foursome (player’s handicaps must established or will be assigned).

Each guest will receive two ’1790′ Cigars

After a painstaking search process of the finest small batch cigar companies and inumerable blends and tastings, as well as perfected design, construction and aging we are now prepared to introduce the ’1790′ cigar in celebration of our Washington store. The year 1790 marked the establishment of the Residence Act by the Congress of the young republic of the United States of America which provided for a new permanent capital, subsequently named the District of Columbia, to be located on the banks of the Potomac River.

The ’1790′ cigar is named to honor the year that the capital city was authorized. The band is designed using the elements of George Washington’s family crest that was also the basis for the District of Columbia flag that was adopted in 1938.

The ’1790′ is rolled by Cuban Americans in Little Havana at the famed El Titan de Bronze cigar factor under supervision of master blender Willy Herrera. The cigar is rolled with cuban-style entubar long leaf filler tobaccos, wrapped in a double leaf binder and finished with a triple cap – a mark of the highest quality cigars available today. The ’1790′ cigar boasts a rich Ecuadorian Sungrown Habano Wrapper, a Nicaraguan Binder and select Dominican Vuelta Abajo and Nicaraguan negrito filler leaf.

We are proud to present the ’1790′ to our valued patrons and know that you will enjoy this exceptional smoke.

The cigar will be enjoyed for the very first time at the dinner and available for sale the following day at all three stores – Washington, DC, Rockville and Bethesda.
